Join the Royal Court and Support Theatre Education at San Pedro Playhouse

Children ages 3–16 are invited to participate in a fun, family-focused fundraising campaign — with royal titles awarded to top fundraisers at It’s Coronation Day! A Family Affair. All proceeds benefit youth theatre education programs.

ROYAL RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

Eligibility

• Age Range: Participants must be between ages 3–16.
• Categories:
  • Royal Court (Ages 3–8) – 4 participants recognized
  • Prince/Princess (Ages 9–12) – 1 boy and 1 girl crowned
  • King/Queen (Ages 13–16) – 1 boy and 1 girl crowned

Fundraising Requirements

• Platform Use: All fundraising must be done through Zeffy, the official campaign platform provided by San Pedro Playhouse. A link will be sent to all participants with additional information.
• Minimum to Qualify: In order to continue in the running for a royal title, participant must raise a minimum of $1,000 by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025. These participants will receive one adult and one youth ticket to It’s Coronation Day! A Family Affair.
• Deadline: All donations must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025 to count toward final totals.
• One Campaign per Participant: Children may not combine totals or run as teams.

Crowning Criteria

• King/Queen and Prince/Princess titles will be awarded to the top individual boy and girl fundraisers in their age group.
• Royal Court (ages 3–8) will be awarded to the top four fundraisers in the selected age range.

Ambassador Expectations (for King/Queen)

• Crowned King and Queen will be invited to:
  • Attend select events at San Pedro Playhouse throughout the following year
  • Represent the organization on social media and at public appearances, when able
  • Maintain a positive and respectful presence as youth ambassadors
• Participation is encouraged but not required; families may opt out of ambassador duties if preferred

Parental Involvement

• Parents/guardians must register their child and oversee all fundraising activity.
• Children should not solicit donations from strangers or engage in any online activity without adult supervision.

Code of Conduct

• No negative messaging, competitive behavior, or misuse of campaign tools.
• All promotional materials must be family-friendly and aligned with the mission of San Pedro Playhouse.

Use of Funds

• 100% of proceeds raised support theatre education programming at San Pedro Playhouse.
• Donations are tax-deductible, and receipts will be provided through the campaign platform.
