By giving their time, talent, and resources, these individuals ensure the magic of theatre continues to inspire audiences for years to come.

ABOUT THE PROFESSIONALS

Playhouse Professionals is a community of young professionals passionate about live theater, created to build lasting support for San Pedro Playhouse. Through engaging events and meaningful connections, the group fosters appreciation for the arts and develops future financial contributors dedicated to sustaining the theatre’s mission.

Membership Requirements

  • Age 21–39
  • 1-year commitment at one of the membership levels below
  • Interest in supporting the arts and engaging with San Pedro Playhouse
  • Attend at least 2 events per year (networking, mixers, backstage tours, etc.)
  • Participate in one volunteer opportunity annually
  • Ovation Society members who are within the required age-range are automatically enrolled as members of Playhouse Professionals

Whether you’re a lifelong theatre lover or new to the stage, Playhouse Professionals offers a meaningful way to support the arts, build community, and have a great time doing it.

Did you know that Russell Hill Rogers was not only dedicated to arts in San Antonio by serving on multiple boards, but he graced the stage of San Pedro Playhouse in many productions, including the theater's first production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, featuring another theatre supporter, Frank Christian. If you are eating near by we recommend making dinner reservations for 5:00 and making sure to let your server know you have somewhere to be at 7. That way you are not rushing to the theater.

Across from the parking lot, San Pedro Park offers a picturesque backdrop for pre-show photos. The charming gazebo within the park also makes for a stunning setting, ideal for engagement photoshoots and capturing memorable moments.
