The Seagull will run approx. 2 hours with one 15-minute intermission. There is no late seating. If guests must leave during the play, there will be no re-entry. There is a brief use of a fog machine and tobacco-less smoke.

The play, written in 1895, is a masterpiece of dramatic literature and was, in many ways, Anton Chekhov’s treatment of Hamlet. As such, guests should be advised that the play includes discussion of violence and death by suicide. However, the characters get up to a fair share of fights, foibles, and sexual escapades while pondering the existential meaning of life…and it’s funny.
